In 2021, she joined EPFL as Vice President for Innovation responsible for the creation of new start-ups coming from academia as well as industry-academia collaborations. Prior to that, Ursula spent 20 years in Silicon Valley and Asia working in open innovation and as investment manager for corporate VC first in the telecom-IT industry and then in Life Science industry.
