In 1991, he joined Nippon Godo Finance Corporation ( currently JAFCO Group Inc.), and in October 1999, he started his own business as a VC. Since then, he has consistently been engaged in investment and development business specializing in the start-up period. He has been a Director of the Japan Venture Capital Association since July 2013; a Managing Director since July 2015, Vice Chairman since July 2017, Chairman since July 2019, and Special Advisor since July 2023.
