In the investment banking division at Nikko Citigroup Securities and SMBC Nikko Securities, I was engaged in equity underwriting, including IPOs, and M&A advisory services. From July 2012, I joined Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Venture Capital (MSIVC), where I executed investments in over 40 domestic and international startups. In April 2022, I was appointed Partner, and as a "playing manager," I also took the lead in fund operations. In October 2025, I joined SMBC Edge and started the challenge, alongside colleagues from various backgrounds, to "achieve Japan's resurgence through the creation of new industries."
