He graduated from Keio University and holds an MBA from IESE Business School. After working at Dentsu Institute and a European strategy consulting firm, he joined A.T. Kearney, where he serves as Co-Leader of the Consumer Goods & Retail Practice for the Asia-Pacific region. For nearly 20 years, he has specialized in management strategy consulting across lifestyle sectors such as apparel and textiles, luxury, beauty, beverages, and online services. He also serves as a member of the Industrial Structure Council at Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and as a Visiting Professor at Shizenkan University. His publications include The Future of Apparel in 2040: Building a Sustainable, Circular, and Regenerative Business in a “Post-Growth” World, among others.
