She joined IBM Japan, Ltd. in 2003, where she was involved in consulting, system development, and maintenance and operations for clients, primarily in the public sector. After serving as a leader for the public sector industry, she was appointed Executive Officer of IBM Japan, Ltd. and President & Representative Director of IBM Japan Digital Services Company (IJDS) in July 2020. In April 2022, she was appointed to the Board of Directors of IBM Japan. Her areas of expertise include systems related to core business and Digital Transformation (DX) in general, as well as project management. In 2025, She returned to IBM Japan and leads Application Operations, responsible for advanced application development and maintenance using AI, as well as the outsourcing domain. She is actively involved in various community activities, such as those for young and female engineers. In her personal life, she is a mother of two.
