Kazuhiko Toyama's career includes experience at the Boston Consulting Group and serving as Representative Director and CEO of Corporate Directions, Inc. (CDI). In 2003, he participated in the establishment of the Industrial Revitalization Corporation of Japan (IRCJ), taking the position of COO. He founded Industrial Growth Platform, Inc. (IGPI) in 2007, where he currently serves as Representative Director and CEO. In 2020, he established Japan Platform of Industrial Transformation, Inc. (JPiX), and is currently its Chairman. He is also an Outside Director of Mercari, Inc., and the Chairman of the Japan Association of Corporate Directors (JACD). His public service roles include Expert Member of the Council for Realizing the New Form of Capitalism (Cabinet Secretariat) and Acting Chairperson of the Council for Promotion of Regulatory Reform (Cabinet Office), in addition to many other government-related committees.
