Naoko Kimura serves as Director of Membership at the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN). Prior to joining the GIIN, Naoko was a relationship manager at the United Nations Global Compact, working with companies and country-level partners to advance corporate sustainability in the Asia/Oceania region. Prior to the UN Global Compact, Naoko held positions within investment management and company management at Morgan Stanley Japan. Naoko started her career in Thailand at UNESCO Bangkok, providing programmatic support in the areas of education, human rights, and bioethics. Naoko has a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Tsukuba in Japan, and an MA in Economics and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
