Masa Shimizu founded ZEALS in 2014 while still a university student and has served as CEO since its inception. In 2016, he launched the industry’s first “Chat Commerce®” platform. In 2018, he was recognized on Forbes’ “30 Under 30 Asia” list in the Enterprise Technology category. Following a successful Series E round in May 2022, which raised 5 billion yen, he led the establishment of ZEALS’ U.S. subsidiary in September and continues to oversee the company’s global expansion efforts.
