She was born in 1981 in Okayama Prefecture and is an actress and producer. She won the Best Supporting Actress award at the Blue Ribbon Awards for her roles in Typhoon Family and Hito Yo (2019). In recent years, she has expanded her career as a producer in the film industry and is involved as a producer with the visual collective BABEL LABEL. Her Japan Night event, held at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2024, became very popular among attendees and garnered significant attention. In 2016, she opened Café Tamon in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, which quickly became a popular spot. In 2023 and 2024, she published Kirei wa Kore de Tsukuremasu (Diamond Publishing) and Kokoro ni Kiku Biyou (Kodansha), both of which became hot topics.
