Michael is currently the Chief Digital and Security Officer, Vice President and Executive Officer, at Hitachi. In his current role he is responsible for all IT and security across Hitachi globally. Michael is a deeply technical IT executive and thought leader. His 20+ years-long career spans every aspect of IT and cybersecurity – ranging from IT and security operations, vulnerability and risk management, web and mobile application development, big data science, AI development, operational technology and cyber-physical security. He has led enterprise digital transformation and cybersecurity efforts for numerous global organizations, especially in government (US and Japan) and critical industries, such as finance, defense, manufacturing, high tech, and healthcare.
