Born in Tokyo in 1981, Nakagawa has hosted various events since his university days. In 2007, he established the production and artist management company ASOBISYSTEM Co., Ltd. He is also widely recognized as the creator of AOMOJI-KEI, one of the distinctive Harajuku fashion subcultures. ASOBISYSTEM disseminates unique Japanese culture and content, including fashion, music, and lifestyle, to audiences worldwide from its headquarters in Harajuku. Nakagawa is also active as a member of the Cabinet Secretariat Cool Japan Public-Private Partnership Platform.
