In 2013, I started a business with a friend. After more than 10 failures over two years, we launched the cloud-based HR and labor management software "SmartHR" in 2015. In 2021, the company raised 15.6 billion yen from overseas investors and others, becoming a unicorn company. I stepped down as CEO of SmartHR in 2022 and founded Nstock, Inc. to solve challenges I identified within the startup ecosystem. In 2025, I announced my resignation from the SmartHR board of directors to focus exclusively on Nstock.
