After earning an MBA from MIT Sloan and starting a career at EY, Sophie gained venture capital experience in the U.S. before joining Eight Roads Ventures Japan in 2020, where she focuses on Fintech and Enterprise SaaS investments. In late 2020, Sophie co-founded Tokyo Women in VC, Japan's largest community for female venture capitalists, with over 200 members. This initiative was driven by a commitment to promoting diversity, providing a platform for women VCs to connect, collaborate, and thrive within the VC ecosystem.
