Makiko Suzuki has experience in various fields at Tokyo Gas, such as project management, sales marketing, and R&D department. After developing her career in Japan, she joined Acario Innovation, the corporate innovation division of Tokyo Gas established by Tokyo Gas in the Bay Area in 2017, to diversify her experience. In August this year, she moved to Innovation Core SEI, a company of Sumitomo Electric Industries based in Silicon Valley. Currently, Makiko is working as a biz dev specialist to find strategic partnerships in U.S. startups for SEI. Before starting her career, she received her master's and bachelor's degrees in engineering and architecture from Tokyo Metropolitan University. She also holds an MBA from Globis University.
