In April 2009, joined Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) and was assigned to the Global Advisory Dept., which handles global support for Japanese companies. In April 2011, transferred to the Akasaka Corporate Business Dept., where I established a group specializing in supporting startup companies, the only one of its kind among corporate business depts nationwide. Engaged in supporting the growth of various startup companies in the dept.. In October 2014, transferred to the Trade Finance Dept. and was stationed in Tokyo, Dubai, and London. In May 2020, transferred to the Growth Business Development Dept. through an open recruitment process. Engaged in value-up support operations for individual startups (including various space related startups). Currently serving as the space sector representative.
