His encounter with space architecture at the age of 19 has changed his life. Later, he majored in architecture and aerospace engineering at the Tohoku University, where he received his master's degree in engineering. While at university, he was involved in the research and development of satellite and next-generation space architecture. He won second place in the world in space architecture competitions. After his internships with various companies, including a space startup company, he started ElevationSpace Inc. He has been selected as one of the "Forbes 30 Under 30 ASIA 2023", leaders and trailblazers across the Asia-Pacific region under 30 who are changing the world.

The International Space Station (ISS), which has supported everything from fundamental science to industrial applications, is set to retire by the end of 2030 due to structural constraints. As a result, the continuity of access to the space environment is becoming a critical challenge. Looking ahead to the post-ISS era, ElevationSpace is developing “ELS-R,” an uncrewed platform for in-orbit research, development, and manufacturing with Earth-return capabilities. In parallel, we are working on “ELS-RS,” a high-frequency return service designed to deliver experimental results and payloads from crewed space stations back to Earth efficiently and reliably.
