After completing both a Master’s and Ph.D. program in the field of MEMS at Kyoto University, he joined the R&D division of Tokyo Electron Ltd. to bring miniaturization technologies into practical use. He later transitioned to ROHM Co., Ltd., a Kyoto-based semiconductor manufacturer. Wanting to implement large corporations' technologies more efficiently to drive innovation, he moved into consulting firm and venture capital firm before co-founding a startup studio in 2022. As the pilot project for the studio, he founded PITTAN, serving as the Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR).

PITTAN provides an innovative service that analyzes sweat to track the body's nutritional state affordably and non-invasively. By visualizing users' inner health conditions, it supports healthier lifestyles with personalized recommendations. Established in 2022 and based in Kobe, with a lab in both Kobe and Kyoto, PITTAN’s solutions are applied in wellness fields such as beauty and fitness, aiming to promote "Lifelong Positivity" and support healthy aging​​.
