What Is GRIC?
One of Japan’s largest growth industry conferences, GRIC—“Growth Industry Conference”—is a hybrid-format conference that brings together driven challengers from across the startup ecosystem, including startups, corporations, and investors from Japan and around the world. With the theme of “Taking Japan’s Startup Ecosystem Global,” GRIC aims to create momentum for decisive action and forward progress in growth industries, elevating the startup ecosystem to the next level.

GRIC2025 recorded its highest participation to date, with 12,402 registrations—113% of the previous event—marking the largest scale in its history. The conference also welcomed over 100 international attendees, evolving into a global platform where entrepreneurs, investors, and venture capitalists from 46 countries and regions came together.
At GRIC PITCH, the GO GLOBAL PRIZE was awarded to startups demonstrating strong potential for global expansion, offering valuable opportunities such as participation in overseas events and engagement with international investors and entrepreneurs. The initiative attracted significant attention from ecosystem stakeholders around the world.
