
In 2017, he was selected as a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Research Fellow DC1. He conducted research on bomb cyclones and ocean waves at the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, The University of Tokyo, and obtained his Ph.D. in Environmental Studies in 2020. He joined MS&AD InterRisk Research & Consulting, Inc., where he was involved in natural disaster risk analysis for insurance underwriting and the development of disaster information systems. Subsequently, he founded Gaia Vision, where he is responsible for the analysis of large-scale climate big data and the development of GIS systems. He also holds a concurrent position as a Project Researcher at the Institute of Industrial Science, The University of Tokyo.
