The GRAND AWARD is WOTA! Global Pitch Stage “GRIC PITCH” Event Report

All 17 startups were pitched, and more than 120 domestic and international judges were judges

“GRIC PITCH” is a global pitch stage that aims to “become a bridge between startups challenging major business growth and the world.” “GRIC PITCH” was held at Shibuya Hikarie Hikarie Hall on 11/14 (Thursday), the last day of “GRIC2024,” which was held for 3 days.

Divided into the three themes of “GREEN,” “HEALTHCARE,” and “UPRISING DIGITAL,” 17 startups with the potential for global success faced more than 120 judges from Japan and abroad.

WOTA Co., Ltd. was selected for the GRAND AWARD, which is the top prize. Then, each theme award and sponsor award were announced. We will introduce each award-winning company along with photos.

THEME 1: GREEN

[Theme Award]

The GREEN theme award went to WOTA Co., Ltd. It is a startup developing a portable water recycling treatment plant “WOTA BOX” that realizes water use in places without running water, and a new hand washing stand “WOSH” that can be installed in places without running water, and Vice President of Global Relations Yamada Ryo said, “We are entering from the core of the lifeline. Tensor Energy Co., Ltd.: A startup that provides a platform “Tensor Cloud” that supports the sustainable growth of renewable energy.

THEME 2: HEALTHCARE

The HEALTHCARE theme award went to United Immunity Co., Ltd. It is a startup from Kyoto University and Mie University that aims to put the fusion technology of nanotechnology and immunotherapy into practical use, and President and CEO Masato Kishida said, “We want to aim for our technology to become a standard within the next 10 years.”

United Immunity Co., Ltd.: A startup from Kyoto University and Mie University that aims to put the fusion technology of nanotechnology and immunotherapy into practical use.

Vetanic Inc.: A startup from Nihon University and Keio University aiming for practical application of regenerative medicine products originating from unique dog iPS cells.

THEME 3: UPRISING DIGITAL

The UPRISING DIGITAL theme award went to HiBot Co., Ltd. It is a startup from the Tokyo Institute of Technology that operates an AI data platform “HiBox,” etc. that stores and analyzes inspection data captured by various sensors such as high-resolution cameras and ultrasonic probes, and Representative Director Guaranieri Michele said, “We have prepared an environment where people can work safely by safely delivering infrastructure in an area where the global aging population is progressing.” I was talking to it.
